We went and spent the day at Palmiet in Westville to look at the plants. It is so amazing what you can see when you take in whats around you.

These are my cuts i did today. They worked perfectly. Hoping that they cast perfectly.

These are my cast Africa's. I am very happy with the way they turned out. This is going to be much easier to make as opposed to piecing them all out by hand.

This is my 2nd attempt at cutting in Rhino and some worked perfectly but I found some of my walls on he Africas were too thin and therefore broke when I removed them from the machine.

Wax Cutting

So I have redone the designs on rhino so that they are ready for cutting. 

Came to tech today feeling like I was going to be extremely productive got here at 8am during our holidays!!!

And now Roland (our wax cutter) decides he's not going to work. So I will have to keep you up dated on when I finally get my pieces cut again.
