Anchors

 

1st Years pierced out anchors. Going to meet Max tonight to see what he thinks about them.

Sand Casting

 

The sand casting of the anchors which we did were not very successful. We are going to try again next term.

Sand Casting Frames

It was suggested to me that we do sand casting for the anchors, so today i learnt how to use a jigsaw which was scary at first but then i got the hang of it, think it will take some more practice to get a straight line. So these are the frames i cut out.

Anchors Drawn in Rhino

 

I drew these out in rhino for the 1st years to pierce out. I would like them to make 2 anchors each. 1 pierced out with a mirror finish and 1 sand cast piece.

Received an order to make anchors for saviour brand. I have made it a project for the 1st and 2nd years to raise money for our department.
