While looking through Pinterest i discovered a alcohol ink which people use for crafts to create colour on non porous items like glass and metal. I am really keen to try it out.

Bud Vases

Bud vases which I made with clay. At first I found the clay very frustrating but I did eventually did kind of get into it eventually but I much preferred the painting of the bud vases.

Filigree Africa Earrings

 

These are the earrings I created from my bead design for Thuthuka.

Filigree Africa Beads

These are the beads I made for the Thuthuka competition. I used sterling silver for the frames of the beads and then added fine silver filigree into the gaps. 

I experienced a few problems with the filigree because when I domed the pieces some of the filigree came out, so what I did was that I made the filigree tighter in the gaps so that there would be more surface area for the filigree to attach to.

So excited for the I Heart Market this weekend. Going to get all my stock ready this week and hopefully try some new things.
