Lotus Necklace
For this necklace I used the same lotus design that I did going up the necklace. I threaded them through the chain instead of using a V-loop or jump ring.

New Lotus Necklace Design
I have been thinking of how to ensure that my chain doesn't overwhelm the lotus flowers. I have decided that it will be better for the lotus flowers to get smaller slowly up the chain.

Kumihino Weave for Lotus Neckpiece
When I placed the weaved cotton behind the lotus flowers to see what it would look like, I felt that it fights with the delicate flowers. After talking to Songz he said that I must create a beautiful chain to go with the piece rather. So I'm going to figure out how I am going to do this.
Completed lotus flowers.
Finally got to finish the filigree in my 3 lotus elements made for my neckpiece. I really am happy with the looks of them. Cant wait to make it into a necklace.

Flower Motif Silicon Mould
I made a mold for my neck piece, but it was bulging in the middle so I couldn't use it. I was very disappointed but when I showed it to Nick he put a knife in it and it turns out there was a big air bubble in it.

I'm going to be making a mold of them to make enough for the neck piece.

Planning of Flower Neckpiece
I want to make a silver neck piece inspired by my Quilled neckpiece which I made last year.
Commercially Viable Cosmos Ring.
For my final ring I made the same ring as the small filigree one but didn't add in any filigree. I feel that this ring will be the most commercially viable due to the size of the piece and the reduced cost due to the fact that there is no filigree.
Commercially Viable Filigree Cosmos Ring.
I created the next piece by only using 2 layers of petals with filigree and a much thinner reverse taper shank.
Diffusion of Cosmos Cocktail Ring
I wanted to create smaller more commercial viable pieces from the original cocktail ring. I started by reducing the amout of petals and also the amount of filigree added to the piece. This piece is still a large ring and may not be everyday use.
Cosmos Cocktail Ring
This is the Cosmos flower cocktail ring I have been making. I wanted it to be a statement piece so I made the flower large with detailed filigree and a heavy reverse tapered shank. Just need the stone to be set now.
Cosmos Flower Prototype
I drew the design for this ring on Rhino. I wanted to find out what it will look like and the size it would be so I printed it out and folded the paper upwards.
Cocktail ring drawing on Rhino
I drew a design that I want to use for the cocktail rings I want to make. I created spaces in between the petals in order to create more depth to the piece when domed.
Cosmos Flower Inspiration
I have decided to use the Cosmos flower for my inspiration for the range of jewellery I am wanting to make for the digital festival. I have had pictures of these flowers up on my bench for nearly 2 years now so I am very excited to finally be using them.
Art Deco Ring
This is my completed Art Deco ring. I was inspired by the earring which I did for the Art Deco Exhibition. I blackened this ring to create some contrast in the pieces that I am making. I will be setting a Smokey Quartz in the center.
