Petal Earrings

I was very happy with how the pendant turned out so I decided to made a matching pair of earrings.

Petal Pendant

I used the shape of the lotus petal to create a commercially viable pendant.

Lotus Necklace

For this necklace I used the same lotus design that I did going up the necklace. I threaded them through the chain instead of using a V-loop or jump ring.

I have been thinking of how to ensure that my chain doesn't overwhelm the lotus flowers. I have decided that it will be better for the lotus flowers to get smaller slowly up the chain. 

Kumihino Weave for Lotus Neckpiece

When I placed the weaved cotton behind the lotus flowers to see what it would look like, I felt that it fights with the delicate flowers. After talking to Songz he said that I must create a beautiful chain to go with the piece rather. So I'm going to figure out how I am going to do this.

Finally got to finish the filigree in my 3 lotus elements made for my neckpiece. I really am happy with the looks of them. Cant wait to make it into a necklace.

Granulation

Making little sterling silver balls to create ganulation for the centre of my flower neck piece. 

 

 

Flower Motif Silicon Mould

I made a mold for my neck piece, but it was bulging in the middle so I couldn't use it. I was very disappointed but when I showed it to Nick he put a knife in it and it turns out there was a big air bubble in it.

Flower Neck-piece Piercing

Piercing out the flower motifs that I am going to be using for my large flower Neck piece. 

I'm going to be making a mold of them to make enough for the neck piece.
